• The main steps of ADDIE process are: Analyze, Design, Develop,
Implement, Evaluate.
• The main steps of ASSURE process are: analyze – state objectives – select method, media or material – utilize media and materials – require learners participations – evaluate and revise.
• The similarities between both process is that they both have analyze and evaluate phases.
• But the difference between them is the ASSURE model integrates media and technology into the instruction.
• ASSURE is more commonly applied by classroom teachers planning technology-based lessons.
• both models aim to improve instructional effectiveness, but ASSURE offers more detailed guidance on media use and learner engagement.
•
ADDIE gives you a structured process to build units or programs from scratch.

•
ASSURE gives you a practical, classroom-oriented guide for engaging lessons, especially with media and student participation. it is useful for daily planning.

• For me as a Science and STEAM teacher, i would prefer to use the ASSURE model more than the ADDIE model in my classroom because it will help me to make my lesson plan and to integrate the technology because STEAM involves a lot of media, tools, and hands-on learning activities and it depends on technology using.
