I believe you have all right to prefer ASSURE model and I share your opinion, but in addition to the reasons mentioned, I believe that ASSURE model not only allows for the use of media and materials, but also allows for their modification before use and application.

I also prefer the ASSURE model because of its clear focus on the learner and the way it integrates technology throughout the lesson.
